DAY 1: ARRIVE in HANOI (-/L/D)






Welcome to Vietnam!

The tour guide of SPARTON TRAVEL will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport; it takes us 35 minutes driving to the centre of Hanoi to check-in hotel. Let's have an overall view of the capital by a "Green car" visit, which will start around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, stop at Ngoc Son Temple located on the Hoan Kiem Lake(the "Sword" Lake). Late afternoon we will enjoy a unique fascinating show of Water Puppetry, a traditional stage art of Northern Vietnam. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI - HALONG - OVERNIGHT ONBOARD (B/L/D)



If you wish to see how the Hanoi people rise and shine in the morning, wake up early and run to a lake close by your hotel, you can join an exciting scene of hundreds of locals, passionately attentive in their morning exercises of Tai Chi quan, jogging, martial arts, classical dance and so on. After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Halong Bay, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO since 1994 and 2006, and check-in our overnight boat. Enjoy a trip on Halong with stops to visit caves or to swim and enjoy the sunset on the sea. Dinner with fresh seafood! Overnight onboard.




DAY 3: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B/L/D)



Morning wake up with a taichi-quan or yoga exercises guided by the crew before having breakfast whilst your boat goes on between Halong islets. Return to the Wharf to be back to Hanoi by shuttle bus at midday. Arrive in the city around 3-4pm.

Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.



DAY 4: HANOI DEPARTURE (B/-/-)



Flight from Hanoi to Saigon via VN 237 at 10.00-12.00 for VJ 8667 at 10.00-12.05

At your leisure until your guide comes to meet and transfer you to the airport to take the departure flight.




DAY 4: SAIGON ARRIVAL - CITY TOUR (L/D)




Welcome to SAIGON !

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat international airport, transferred to the hotel to drop off luggage. Have lunch at local restaurant before we start the city tour at the Reunification Palace, the witness of the fierce Vietnam War ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the colonial-styled Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city?s major landmarks. The visit will end at Ngoc Hoang (the "Jade Emperor") pagoda before we join the night market at Ben Thanh. Dinner with delicious local foods of Saigon. Dinner and overnight in Saigon.

DAY 5: SAIGON - MEKONG DELTA - SAIGON (B/L/D)





Head to the South to My Tho and Ben Tre, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products. Stop en route to visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Upon arrival in My Tho, we will take a small boat to go between canals into gardens and rural houses, where a lot of families produce coconut candy, feed the bee for honey, or plant juicy fruit. Stop at some families and their small factories. Back to Saigon later afternoon for overnight. Lunch en route and dinner in Saigon.



DAY 6: SAIGON - CU CHI TUNNEL - MOC BAI BORDER GATE - PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)





After breakfast and check out, we will drive overland to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese guerrillas to protect the region against the American attacks during the Vietnam War. We can even crawl a part inside the tunnel, visit their infirmary, kitchen.... to discover how people had survived hereby.
Move on to Moc Bai border gate for your onwards trip to Cambodia.
Welcome your Cambodia tour guide at border in the morning and transfer to Phnom Penh, it takes around 3.5 hours to reach there. Dinner and overnight in Phnom Penh



DAY 7: PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR (B/L/D)





After breakfast, visit the impressive colorful Khmer-style royal palace complex build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom. Nearby is Silver pagoda (the emerald Buddha temple), where contain plenty of Buddha Statues decorated and made by gold, diamond, gemstone and silver. We will stop at Independence monument and explore the National museum; a beautiful Khmer architecture building contains more than 5000 art antiques made by bronze, wood, gold, silver, copper, sandstone and others. We pass through the river-front park where 4 rivers met at a junction include mystical Mekong. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon we visit Tuol Sleng prison now is Genocide Museum, the most secret part of the Khmer Rouge regime. It's also called S-21 (abbreviated for Security Office 21), a Khmer Rouge's premier security camp, specifically designed for the interrogation and extermination of anti-Angkor elements. Leave the relics of the bad history of Cambodia if time permits we will go shopping around Russian market; enjoy the bustling daily activities of the locals. Dinner and overnight in Phnom Penh.



DAY 8: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP (B/L/D)



After breakfast at hotel, we will go overland to Siem Reap today, with first stop at Skuon town to see (or even try) saut?ed spiders, a local food. Lunch at Prek Pros restaurant. Then we will arrive at Siemreap with last stop at archeological "Naga Bridge" at Kampong Kdei. Arrival in Siem Reap, check in hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and have funny time at bars and pubs at Angkor night market. Overnight in Siem Reap.



DAY 9: ANGKOR WAT EXPLORATION (B/L/D)



Breakfast at hotel, explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, The famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300 meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and gradual that spans the heart of Angkor Thom in front of Baphuon - huge temple mountain in the heart of Angkor Thom, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas - impressive rite and sandstone pyramid. Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall with deeply carved nag as, demons and other mythological beings. Lunch at local restaurant.



Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who reined Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century to dedicate to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction. It is time to visit Pre Rup temple for a romantic sunset view. Welcome buffet dinner with Apsara Dance Show. Overnight in Siem Reap.


DAY 10: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE VIA FLIGHT (B)



After breakfast hotel, free leisure on own arrangement until time transfer to airport for flight onwards. End of service.
